Harrower Village is located in the City of Glendale. For this development Abode Communities is repurposing the Harrower Laboratory complex which was built in 1921 and is on the Historic Register. The proposed 39-unit, 100% affordable housing complex will provide housing for seniors. Designated historic, the 3 existing on-site buildings will be adaptively reused. A new, two-story building will be constructed on the southern portion of the site. 8,257 square feet of tenant common open space will be provided. The 4 buildings will sit around an existing central courtyard and the four new buildings will  be for residential uses and include one community room and two offices.
