LA celebrates groundbreaking of city's first Project Homekey renovation
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- During those scorching hot days in the San Fernando Valley, those who are particularly vulnerable are unhoused residents.
It is in part why many are now celebrating what is described as an accelerated permanent housing development near Sepulveda and Roscoe boulevards.
"The Pano is designed specifically for single adults all who have experienced chronic homelessness and generally live with some other coexisting mental or physical health disorder," said Stephanie Klasky-Gamer, the president and CEO of LA Family Housing.

Construction Starts on Affordable Housing Project in Altadena
Nonprofit housing organization EAH Housing has begun construction on Agave, a 58-unit affordable housing development in Altadena. The project, in partnership with Union Station Homeless Services, is aimed at providing permanent supportive housing for formerly unhoused individuals.
“As many cities in LA County, Altadena is dealing with a rapidly growing need for not only affordable housing but special needs and permanent supportive housing,” Laura Hall, EAH Housing CEO and President, said in a statement.

Final Pour Milestone: Completing the Foundation at Third Thyme
On Saturday, June 29, 2024 , the 5th and final pour took place at the Third Thyme development completing the building's structural foundation. With the foundation in place, the focus shifts to erecting the superstructure and progressing towards completion.
