FOUNTAIN STREET

Fountain Street & Wehrle Court Family Housing is a proposed affordable multifamily housing development located at 4151 East Fountain Street in the City of Long Beach. The development will transform an underutilized site into a thoughtfully designed residential community, providing 72 units of affordable housing for low-income households and families and 1 managers unit. The development will include a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units to support a range of household sizes and needs. Homes will be reserved for residents earning up to varying levels of Area Median Income (AMI), ensuring a diverse range of affordability. The project is intended to provide long-term housing stability while addressing the growing demand for affordable housing in the region. In addition to quality housing, the development will feature on-site amenities including community spaces and landscaped open areas, along with access to supportive services focused on resident well-being, education, and family support.
